Who is Primo?
I am a lifelong learner driven by a trifecta of passions: writing, music, and the competitive world of sports. What began three years ago as a hobby project to document the Australian Open has evolved into Primosmusings—a comprehensive podcast platform where global sports cultures collide.
My journey with sports started on the cricket pitch in India, fostering a deep love for the game that continues today whenever India plays a Test match or international tournament. However, my move to the United States opened a new chapter in my fandom. As a proud UConn Husky alumnus, I quickly immersed myself in American sports culture, becoming a devoted follower of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
As for tennis, I fell in love with Ice "Bjorn Borg" as my first idol followed by Boris Becker and eventually Roger Federer. On the women's side it was always Steffi Graf. Currently I relish the rivalry between Alcaraz and Sinner. Golf is a sport I picked up last few years. Really enjoy the challenge of mastering each and every course. Tiger will always be my #1 player.
Today, Primosmusings bridges these two worlds. From the gridiron of the NFL and the courts of the NBA to the global circuits of Formula 1 and International Cricket, I bring a unique, multi-cultural perspective to the games we love.
